Pamela is rare in that she is both a business person and an artist. She is just as much at home with the logical side of her brain
as the inventive and
feels comfortable in
either corporate or creative environments.
She previously started Creative Leverage Group in 2004, which focuses on marketing communications for small business. As CLG grew and began to attract more and more of a “creative clientele” she realized that her 30 years in show business could be used to help other aspiring artists and entertainers learn about marketing themselves. Thus, Artists’ Edge Design was born.
Pamela’s passion is to help artists gain the respect, recognition and financial benefits they deserve while at the same time guiding them in the all-too-often ignored art of self-promotion.
Because she was never instructed in the “how-to” of marketing while she was a student and then professional performer, it is that much more important to her that this information become common knowledge for the artist.
Mailing out headshots and résumés to agents and casting directors is a start, but it’s only one in many, many steps to becoming a household name. The responsibility lies with the artist to make this happen and Pamela Saxon hopes that Artists' Edge Deisgn will be a valuable resource for this kind of information.
John Hinchey, trombonist, composer, arranger and music director has had
his arrangements, orchestrations and compositions performed around the world for
clients including Norwegian Cruise Lines, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, LEGOLAND theme parks, Paramount Theme Parks and The Rainforest Foundation Fund (produced by Sting and his wife Trudi Styler).
He has performed as a trombonist in concerts, and on studio recordings of many artists and shows including, “A Chorus Line,” “Bob Fosse’s Dancin’,” “The Hopeville Tour” featuring gospel artists Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, The Funk Brothers, Hank Williams Jr,, and Sara Evan.
John is the CEO of Hinchey Music Services, Inc. with headquarters located in Nashville ,TN.
We are very fortunate that John is aligned with Artists’ Edge Design and shares the same ideals: to help other professional artists gain access to the tools they need in order to bring longevity and success to their careers.
Scott has been an adopted Tennessean since high school.
During his college years
in Memphis, he was the one student in the state selected by the renowned Parson’s School of Design to spend a semester interning in New York.
Combining his fine art study with technology, he’s designed everything from websites and CD-ROMs to quiz and arcade games.
Scott currently works as a full-time web/interactive media designer for Gish, Sherwood & Friends, an advertising agency in Nashville. We feel fortunate to have Scott working with us on our projects!
